Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 13, 2026

This page is our own privacy policy for Crescent Live Events (the “business,” “we,” or “us”). It is intended to meet common expectations for apps and services that use Meta technologies, as described in Meta’s developer documentation (for example, the Privacy Policy Expectations for App Development with Meta). It does not replace independent legal advice for your jurisdiction.

1. Who we are

Crescent Live Events provides event planning and related services. We are based in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. You can reach us at crescentliveevents@gmail.com or by phone at +91 9665508968.

2. What information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect or process:

  • Website and technical data: Information typical of web visits, such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring URLs, and timestamps, as recorded in server or security logs where applicable.
  • Contact and inquiry data: When you contact us (for example via our website form, email, phone, or WhatsApp), we may process your name, phone number, email address, event details, and the content of your message.
  • WhatsApp Business / messaging data: When we use the WhatsApp Business Platform (including the WhatsApp Business API or Cloud API) we may process phone numbers, message delivery and read-status information, message identifiers, and content sent through approved templates or permitted session messages, as well as error codes or related diagnostics provided by the platform.
  • Recipient lists for service messages: Where you or your organisation provide recipient data for legitimate communications (for example CSV uploads or lists used only for agreed event or service-related messaging), we process those identifiers and any template variables strictly as needed to send and track those messages.
  • Administrator accounts: If you use our internal tools, we may process account identifiers (such as name and email), authentication data, and usage logs tied to those accounts.

3. How we use information and why

We process personal information for purposes such as:

  • Responding to enquiries and delivering our event and client services;
  • Sending transactional or service-related messages you have requested or that are necessary to perform our contract with you, where use of WhatsApp or other channels is appropriate and permitted;
  • Operating, securing, and improving our website and systems;
  • Complying with law, responding to lawful requests, and protecting rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use WhatsApp data for unauthorised advertising incompatible with applicable WhatsApp and Meta terms.

4. Meta / WhatsApp

Our use of WhatsApp is subject to the WhatsApp Business Terms of Service and related Meta policies. Meta processes personal data in accordance with its own terms and policies when people use WhatsApp. We encourage you to review Meta’s documentation if you use WhatsApp to contact us or receive messages from us.

5. How long we keep information

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, to resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Retention periods may vary by data type; when data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it where feasible.

6. Sharing and processors

We may share information with:

  • Meta / WhatsApp — as required to send and receive messages through the WhatsApp Business Platform;
  • Hosting and IT providers — who host our website or systems under appropriate arrangements;
  • Professional advisers — where required (for example legal or accounting professionals);
  • Authorities — when we believe disclosure is required by law or to protect rights and safety.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights and how to request deletion

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Data deletion requests

To request deletion of personal information we hold about you (including data related to enquiries or WhatsApp messaging where applicable), contact us at crescentliveevents@gmail.com with the subject line “Data deletion request.” Include enough detail for us to verify your request (for example the phone number or email address involved, and approximate dates of contact). We will respond within a reasonable time and explain any limitations (for example where we must retain certain records by law).

You may also reach us by phone at +91 9665508968 for privacy-related questions.

Step-by-step options (including Meta’s automated deletion callback, if you use Facebook to connect our app) are on our User data deletion page.

9. International transfers

Our primary operations are in India. If data is transferred across borders (for example through Meta’s global infrastructure), we rely on applicable safeguards and vendor terms as required by law.

10. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where a higher age applies locally). If you believe we have collected a child’s data in error, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acknowledgment of the updated policy where permitted by law.
